Reentry Housing
(Justice-Involved Support)
The Green Door CoLiving Reentry Housing program provides safe, structured transitional housing for individuals returning to the community after incarceration or long-term institutionalization. Our homes offer a second chance through a stable foundation where residents can rebuild their lives with support, accountability, and dignity.
For many justice-involved individuals, finding safe and affordable housing is one of the greatest barriers to successful reintegration. Reentry Housing breaks that barrier by offering a clean, consistent, and goal-oriented living environment.
What Is Reentry Housing (Justice-Involved Support)?
Reentry Housing is a shared housing model designed for adults recently released from jail, prison, or other institutional placements who are committed to creating a stable, productive life. These homes are not correctional facilities or halfway houses. Instead, they are independent, structured environments with clear expectations, daily routines, and guidance.
Residents participate in household responsibilities, maintain sobriety (if applicable), and work toward goals such as employment, education, reunification with family, or securing permanent housing. The homes promote respect, routine, and readiness for full independence.
What the Homes Offer:
Fully furnished bedrooms (shared or private) in a structured home
Clear house expectations, curfews, and routines to support accountability
A house manager or lead resident who enforces structure and offers guidance
Pantry staples and access to a shared kitchen, laundry, and communal spaces
Support with obtaining ID, employment, transportation, and reentry resources
Referrals to mental health, legal aid, addiction recovery, or case management
A peer-based environment that promotes mutual respect, motivation, and accountability
Residents are required to maintain progress toward self-sufficiency and actively engage in personal development while living in the home.
Who This Is For:
Adults recently released from jail, prison, or other justice placements
Individuals on probation or parole needing a structured housing option
Residents referred by courts, reentry programs, or transitional case managers
People committed to staying sober, employed, and out of the criminal justice system
Those who are behaviorally stable and able to live in a shared, community-based setting
Program Goals

Provide structured housing for justice-involved individuals who lack stable placement

Why This Program Works
