The Green Door CoLiving Mental Wellness Supportive Housing provides structured, community-based living for individuals managing mild to moderate mental health conditions who do not require inpatient or clinical care, but still benefit from daily routine, stability, and peer support.
This model supports adults who are stable but may have difficulty maintaining housing due to challenges like depression, anxiety, PTSD, or similar non-acute conditions. It bridges the gap between institutional care and unsupported living, offering structure without overmedicalizing the environment.
What Is Mental Wellness Supportive Housing?
Mental Wellness Supportive Housing is a non-clinical shared housing program designed for adults navigating mental health challenges who are ready for a peaceful, semi-independent environment.
Residents are typically engaged in outpatient care and benefit from living in a structured home where routines, expectations, and community help maintain their stability.
These homes prioritize emotional safety, daily structure, and quiet surroundings. While not clinical settings, they are intentionally designed to support self-awareness, wellness habits, and continued growth.
What Our Homes Offer:
Private or shared furnished rooms in a calm, well-maintained home
Light daily structure and clearly communicated house expectations
A house manager or lead resident who provides oversight and support
Encouragement to maintain outpatient care or therapy
Optional life skills coaching, goal setting, or resource navigation
Medication self-management (residents must be medication compliant)
Quiet spaces, shared meals, and peer support to reduce isolation
Note: This program is not appropriate for individuals with active psychosis, unmanaged substance use, or behaviors that present a safety concern.
