Senior Co-Living Housing
The Green Door CoLiving Senior program provides a safe, community-oriented housing option for older adults who desire independence but benefit from structure, companionship, and light support. These homes are designed for seniors who do not need medical care or assisted living, but who want to avoid isolation, maintain dignity, and enjoy daily life in a peaceful, shared environment.
Senior Co-Living supports healthy aging by creating a sense of belonging and routine, offering residents connection, comfort, and a stable home as they navigate this next chapter of life.
What Is Senior Co-Living?
Senior Co-Living is a shared housing model for adults typically age 60+ who are capable of independent living but want a more supportive lifestyle than living alone can provide. These homes promote connection and ease by offering shared spaces, light structure, and the comfort of having other residents present.
Each home is designed to be accessible, quiet, and welcoming. While not licensed care facilities, the homes offer a sense of consistency and rhythm. Many residents participate in part-time work, community engagement, or enjoy retirement with the peace of mind that someone is always nearby.
What the Homes Offer:
Fully furnished, senior-friendly shared or private bedrooms
Light daily routines with basic expectations around cleanliness and shared space
Pantry staples and access to a shared kitchen, laundry, and quiet common areas
A house manager or supportive resident lead for light oversight
Peaceful environment with limited traffic and low noise
Accessible entryways, grab bars, and accommodations based on resident needs
Optional support connecting with Medicare/Medicaid services, community programs, or transportation
Encouragement of social interaction and communal meals when possible
These homes are ideal for seniors who want comfort, community, and structure without the clinical feel of a facility.
